Classes in Eternal Sword Pact are a given, being an MMO game. Players can essentially choose from a variety of different playstyles, presented in the form of unique classes. Each class has their own pros and cons, relative to each player. There is no such thing as “best class”, as each offers unique strengths that shine in different situations. You are required to choose a class in the game as soon as after account creation. Once made, this class choice cannot be reversed. At the time of global launch, Eternal Sword Pact has 4 distinct class options:

• Dragon Lancer – The Dragon Lancer class is a melee-ranged one that combines the strength of a fighter with the sustain of a durable tank. Users can expect to have increased physical damage, defense, and burst damage. You can chain abilities with the lance, thanks to smooth weapon switches.
• Spirit Fox – The Spirit Fox is a ranged class that offers both burst damage and utility. Users can expect to have increased defense, agility, physical damage, and crowd control when picking this class. An agile damage dealer that can lock enemies, what else you need!
• Lunarborn – The Lunarborn class is a ranged DPS one that excels at dealing magical damage from afar. Users can expect to have increased magical damage, agility, burst damage, and little physical damage from this class.
• Sword Sage – The Sword Sage class is a melee-ranged menace that deals magical damage by getting up, close, and personal with the enemies. Users who opt for this class can expect to have high magical damage, defense, agility, and burst damage. Slash through your foes with the magical blades imbued within your arsenal!

Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of Eternal Sword Pact

Much like any mobile MMO, Eternal Sword Pact also features open-world progression. For a change, this game has a horizontal field of view, offering players much more immersion. The core gameplay loop, especially at the early game stages, remains to be progression towards the main quests. These quests are located on the top left-hand side, shining in yellow color. Players can simply tap on them, and the game’s AI (Artificial Intelligence) will take you towards the questing location.

In fact, you can simply sit back and relax, as the game plays automatically for you. Although, you will need to click here and there to mark completion of quests or equip gear pieces. Your power level in Eternal Sword Pact is measured by a combined metric known as “Combat Power”. This is a number given to your account which takes into measure several factors such as gear, skills, talents, mounts, titles, wings, and much more. You will slowly learn how to increase this number as it is the best metric to judge someone’s power level.

Combat and Skills of Eternal Sword Pact

The combat mechanics of Eternal Sword Pact are not tough to master at all. In fact, the game features an auto-combat system right from the get go. Your controls are simple to earn and help you traverse the beautiful landscapes of Eternal Sword Pact. The virtual movement wheel is located on the left-hand side, and can be toggled to move your character. On the right-hand side, players can find the active skills they have currently equipped on their character. These are different for each class, but at a maximum, you can equip up to 4 of them.

Next, there are also passive skills that you can equip. Although, these are not present on the screen, as they do not require manual activation. Players can also see the big attack button that can be used to cast basic attacks. On the left of it, a Dash button to teleport some distance can be seen. Lastly, you can select to choose to target a monster or enemy character from the bottom right-hand side.
