Free Fire’s Halloween 2026 event, The Unseen, introduces a new way to discover supernatural secrets during regular matches. Players can use a special tool called the Reveal Mask to uncover hidden anomalies, photograph strange sightings, and earn rewards while exploring familiar locations.

But what exactly is the Hidden Side, and how do you enter it? The event doesn’t appear to feature a separate mode or location with that name. Instead, the Hidden Side seems to refer to the supernatural elements that become visible when you use Reveal Mask.

Here’s how the mechanic works, what to look for on Bermuda, and how to take advantage of the Halloween event.

What Is the Hidden Side in Free Fire?

The Hidden Side is best understood as a description of the hidden anomalies introduced during The Unseen event, rather than an officially confirmed separate game mode.

During matches, certain areas contain strange objects and supernatural sightings that players can uncover using Reveal Mask. Activating the tool temporarily changes what your character can see, allowing you to locate anomalies that aren’t normally visible.

You don’t need to enter a portal, select a special map, or visit the Halloween manor to access these sightings. The activity takes place during regular matches, where you can continue fighting opponents and exploring the map as usual.

The Unseen event also includes a Gallery that tracks your discoveries. There are 17 in-match photographs to collect, alongside five separate Event Album entries, for a total of 22.

How to Use Reveal Mask and Find Hidden Anomalies

Reveal Mask is the main tool for discovering strange sightings during the Halloween event.

When you enter a supported match, pay attention to the minimap as you move around. Areas containing supernatural activity can be marked with a distinctive grasping-hand icon.

Travel toward one of these markers and look for signs of an anomaly nearby. Once you’re close enough, activate Reveal Mask to expose the hidden sighting.

The process is straightforward:

  • Enter a match and explore the map normally.
  • Watch your minimap for the event’s grasping-hand icons.
  • Move toward a marked location.
  • Use Reveal Mask to reveal the hidden anomaly.
  • Approach the revealed sighting until the capture prompt appears.
  • Take its photograph to add the discovery to your Gallery.

The photography interaction takes place within a marked circular area. Successfully capturing an anomaly can also provide a loot box containing useful in-match supplies, such as weapons.

You don’t have to abandon the match to participate. In fact, the easiest approach is to check nearby anomaly markers while rotating between locations, collecting supplies, or moving toward the safe zone.

What Changed on the Bermuda Map?

The most noticeable Halloween change to Bermuda is the addition of supernatural sightings at familiar locations.

Rather than introducing an entirely new battlefield, The Unseen adds hidden points of interest that players can discover through Reveal Mask. These encounters give you another reason to investigate major landmarks and buildings during a match.

For example, several anomalies have been encountered around Peak and the Bimasakti Strip area, including the Stroller, Strange Car, Ball, Rocking Horse, Faded Figure, Black Claw, Mysterious Stone, Dark Shadow, and Glitching TV.

However, these sightings shouldn’t be treated as having guaranteed, fixed spawn points. Anomalies may appear at different locations across matches, so a location guide is best used as a starting point rather than an exact checklist.

The most reliable method is to visit major areas, watch for the minimap icons, and activate Reveal Mask when you approach a marked spot.

There’s also no clear evidence from the event interface that Bermuda has received a complete terrain overhaul or that players must unlock a new version of the map. The confirmed gameplay change is the addition of these interactive supernatural encounters.

How the Hidden Sightings Connect to Halloween Rewards

Discovering anomalies contributes to the Gallery, which tracks the photographs you’ve collected during The Unseen.

The Gallery contains 17 in-match entries and five Event Album entries. Collecting all 22 entries unlocks the It Knows You title reward.

The five Event Album photographs work differently from the in-match sightings. They’re tied to progress in The Unseen event missions. Reaching certain milestones can trigger a camcorder sequence inside the manor, where you pan the camera to find a strange sighting and unlock an album entry.

For example, reaching the first milestone at 20 Black Masks triggers one of these sequences.

Other Halloween activities also provide rewards. Spooky Sounds includes objectives for using Reveal Mask and interacting with strange sightings, while Haunted Exchange offers missions and an exchange system. These activities are related to the event, but they aren’t separate ways to enter the Hidden Side.

Tips for Finding More Anomalies

If you’re having trouble finding a sighting, don’t spend the entire match searching one building. Check the minimap, move between major locations, and investigate new markers as they appear.

Peak is a useful area to explore because multiple different anomalies have been observed there. However, there’s no guarantee you’ll find the same objects on every visit.

Remember that you must use Reveal Mask and complete the photograph interaction. Simply walking through an anomaly’s location won’t necessarily add it to your Gallery.

Most importantly, continue playing the match normally. You can discover sightings while collecting equipment, moving around Bermuda, and completing your usual objectives.
