If you have ever felt like your decorating skills deserved a wider audience, the Heartopia Beaver Cup Build Challenge is your moment to shine. This massive community event runs from April 25th to June 20th and transforms home design into a team-based spectacle. It is a multi-phase celebration where creativity meets collaboration on a grand scale. To make the most of this event, you need to understand the timing of each stage and how to work effectively with your squad.

Requirements for Beaver Build Challenge in Heartopia

Before you can pick up a hammer, your account must meet specific eligibility standards. You need to be at least Level 12 and have a historical Home Evaluation Score of 1,500 points or higher. If you do not meet these marks when the event starts on April 25th, do not worry. As long as you reach these requirements by 5:59 a.m. on May 16th, you can still gain access to the exclusive construction islands. Moreover, the Beaver Build Challenge in Heartopia is divided into 4 main phases. Each phase starts at a particular time, and ends on a particular time and day.

Phase 1: Team Recruitment and Prep

The recruitment phase is the first major step, running from April 25th until 6:00 a.m. on May 2nd. During this time, you can act as a captain to recruit others or join an existing team. Every team has a maximum capacity of four players. Team management is quite flexible; you can leave and re-enter teams without a waiting period. However, each female character can only belong to one team per festival cycle.

Being a captain comes with responsibilities. If a captain stays offline for more than seven consecutive days, their leadership status is automatically transferred to another active team member. You are allowed to adjust your team formation throughout the preparation period and even during the final seven days of the creative phase. Just remember that the final work is bound to the team; if every single member leaves, the work is deleted.

Phase 2: Creative Period

Once the clock strikes 6:00 a.m. on May 2nd, the construction phase officially begins and lasts until May 23rd. You can enter your team island through the Beaver Cup memorial platform or the festival interface at your house door. This stage supports a multi-person construction function, allowing everyone to contribute simultaneously.

A major technical highlight is the support for both ordinary and advanced perspectives. Developers can use these perspectives independently without interfering with each other’s work, making complex structural layouts much easier to manage. As you build, the system maintains a detailed construction record. You can look back at these logs to see exactly how you and your teammates contributed to the project. You can even set up a camera to record time-lapse footage, allowing you to show the world exactly how your island grew from nothing into a fairytale land.

Submission and Fresh Sprouts

Before your work can enter the exhibition, it must meet two strict conditions. First, your build must reach a specific evaluation score, which the system calculates automatically after every edit. Second, your team must submit enough Fresh Sprouts. This is the event’s exclusive currency, earned by completing residents’ entrustments or selling items.

The number of Fresh Sprouts you need to submit depends on the load of your construction festival; more complex builds require a higher quantity. The total count is a sum of all sprouts owned by every teammate. Once the conditions are met, the captain can lock the work to enter it into the competition. If the captain forgets to lock it, the work will be automatically submitted if it meets the requirements by the deadline. Captains can also open access rights to let other players view the work while it is still being created.

Phase 3: Exhibition Period

The exhibition period runs from May 23rd to 6:00 a.m. on June 6th. This is the time to visit other teams’ masterpieces. You can find islands through the memorial platform, your Friendship Journal, or the Random Visit option on the event page. You can also search for specific builders using their developer ID to join hands with friends for a group tour.

Visiting works through the event page consumes Helicopter Tokens. You can replenish these by helping residents with their requests or by picking up occasional bubbles that appear within the construction works you visit. While visiting, you can interact with the environment, take photos, and leave a like on your favorite designs.

Phase 4: Selection Period and Rewards

The final stage is the selection period, lasting from June 6th until the event concludes at 6:00 a.m. on June 20th. During the first few days of this phase, the officials count the data and interactions from the exhibition. Once the numbers are in, you can view the list of winning works directly on the festival page.

The association awards prizes to the top works, and every member of a winning team receives a reward. Trophies and awards are sent directly to your personal mailbox. Even after the festival ends, you can continue to visit the award-winning works through the memorial table or by using the trophies you earned to revisit your specific construction as it existed during the competition.

Players can enjoy playing Heartopia on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
