Yidhra, the Dream Witch, operates from the shadows as an untouchable force. While she remains hidden in dreams, she exerts influence by tethering loyal survivors into her followers. These parasitic entities mirror her will, striking whenever she assumes control. Though survivors may find Witch Marks to purge her influence, her presence ensures she is always nearby, turning the entire trial into a nightmare of constant psychological pressure.

Cheerleader (Lily Barriere)

Cheerleader, a.k.a, Lily Barriere is a high-octane supportive survivor who rallies her team through sheer willpower. With Motivate, she maneuvers the map with explosive speed bursts, while Inspire resets crucial item cooldowns. Her rhythmic Encourage system grants teammates stacks to trigger Cheerful sprints and recover faster from a downed state. Despite her All Thumbs decoding penalty, her ability to sustain allies and defy death makes her an indispensable and highly used survivor.

Forward (William Webb Ellis)

Forward, a.k.a, William Ellis is the definition of athletic prowess. Armed with his signature rugby ball, he uses Rush to charge the Hunter, knocking them back or stunning them against the terrain. His athletic build grants him superior agility during chases, while his strength ensures Hunters remain dazed longer. Using the trait All Thumbs at decoding, his incredible Struggle speed allows him to break free and remain the team’s ultimate frontline protector.

Sculptor (Galatea)

The Sculptor, Galatea, makes survivors run for their lives! Through Sculpture of Strength, she summons pairs that crush Survivors against terrain for half damage. Her Hieroglyphic Graveyard grants a divine top-down view to place sculptures with surgical precision. When sculptures collide, they form Sculpture of Nobility, a relentless projectile. To Galatea, every Survivor is simply raw material for her cold and inescapable final masterpiece.

The Breaking Wheel (The Will Brothers)

The Will Brothers, known as The Breaking Wheel, are a high-speed nightmare for any survivor in Identity V. By assembling into a massive wheel, they gain immense mobility, crushing pallets and ignoring control effects. While they cannot attack directly in this form, they inflict Pierce stacks on anyone they run over. Reverting to human form allows them to shatter these spikes, instantly converting each stack into lethal damage, transforming the trial into a relentless, high-velocity hunt.

Matador (Hernando Romero)

The Matador is a daring kiter who excels at high-stakes evasion. Through Muleta Mastery, he performs immune-granting dashes that knock back Hunters or whisk allies to safety. His Gaonera Pass leaves a taunting Muleta at vaults, forcing the Hunter to mimic his path while potentially slowing their movements. While his Faena trait makes him sluggish under direct pressure, his exceptional vaulting agility turns every pursuit into a deadly, choreographed dance.

The Disciple (Ann)

The Disciple dominates the battlefield by manipulating space with her supernatural cats. By unleashing and splitting her feline companions, she creates Paralysis Areas that stun Survivors in their tracks. She can dash toward her cats with Catwalk, closing gaps instantly and catching prey off guard. Her Guide ability redirects her hunters, while her presence silences Survivors, preventing them from using items. In Ann’s world, every shadow is a potential trap.

Mercenary (Naib Subedar)

Mercenary is the ultimate kiter and rescue specialist. Using his signature Elbow Pads, he performs high-speed Iron Dashes off walls to outmaneuver Hunters. His Steel Will allows him to delay damage for eight seconds, making him incredibly difficult to down instantly. While he suffers from Shell Shocked decoding and healing penalties, his sheer resilience and agility ensure he remains the team’s most reliable shield during high-pressure end-game situations.

Faro Lady (Evelyn Mora)

Faro Lady is a master of stealth and strategic sabotage. Her Cloak ability conceals her presence near Hunters, hiding her footsteps while she maneuvers unseen. With her Aromatherapy Cane, she manipulates her cooldowns and leaves a fragrant trail to confuse pursuers. Her Dexterous nature allows her to manipulate cipher progress from afar, boosting her speed at a cost to other machines. Despite slow rescue speeds, her invisibility makes her a ghost.

Doctor (Emily Dyer)

The Doctor  is the backbone of team survivability. Her Med Master trait allows her to heal herself infinitely, recovering from fatal wounds with unmatched speed and ignoring damage interrupts. She provides a significant healing boost to allies and gains a burst of speed when taking minor damage. As a Veteran, she utilizes longer post-hit speed boosts to escape danger. In skilled hands, her constant self-sustain makes her an immovable force.

B Tier Characters

Painter (Edgar Valden)

The Painter turns the battlefield into a gallery of distraction for the hunter. By memorizing the Hunter’s face, he creates a Drawing Board that forcibly attracts and entrances them, buying his team precious time. Placing these masterpieces permanently increases his movement speed through Aesthetic Resonance. His Intuition allows him to resist standard Rocket Chair progress penalties, though his Self-Fulfillment briefly reveals his location to the Hunter, adding a dangerous layer to his artistic expression.

Archer (Brynhildr Vilulf)

The Archer is a high-skill kiter who punishes aggressive Hunter movement. Her Keel Bow fires powerful arrows that inflict Laceration, a unique debuff that builds damage faster as the Hunter moves, eventually leading to a stun. For quick repositioning, her Crossbow allows for a backward leap while interrupting the Hunter. Though her Spirit of Bragi makes her sluggish when far from the hunt, her ability to lock onto targets makes her a deadly sharpshooter.

Photographer (Joseph Desaulniers)

The Photographer is a temporal hunter who manipulates reality through his Camera World. By taking photos, he creates a static dimension where he can attack Survivor replicas to inflict real-world damage upon collapse. His unique Spacetime trait grants him 1.5x damage on normal attacks, making every hit devastating. With Time Jump, he can rewind his location up to 15 seconds, allowing him to surprise Survivors or instantly return to defended objectives.
