Isekai:Slow Life – Updated Character Tier List

Isekai:Slow Life is an idle city-building RPG where you rebuild a village and recruit Fellows, the collectible characters you assign to buildings to grow your economy and clear content. Since the earlier version of this tier list, the roster has expanded considerably, including a KonoSuba crossover and a wide bench of support units, so this updated guide re-ranks every current Fellow using the two values the game shows on every character card: rarity and Initial Aptitude. These placements reflect each Fellow’s ceiling and long-term investment value rather than a skill-by-skill combat score, because a Fellow’s practical worth also depends on its individual blessing and which building you assign it to. Treat the tiers as an acquisition and upgrade priority guide, then adjust based on the roles your village actually needs.
How This Tier List Is Ranked
Every Fellow in Isekai:Slow Life carries two visible values that define its potential. The first is rarity, which runs from N at the bottom through R, SR, SSR, SSR Plus, and UR at the top. The second is Initial Aptitude, a starting stat that scales closely with rarity and signals how much a Fellow can grow once you invest resources into it. Higher rarity and higher aptitude generally mean a higher performance ceiling, which is why they form the backbone of these rankings.
Alongside rarity, each Fellow belongs to one of five attributes, shown as an icon in the corner of the character card. These attributes group Fellows and tie into building bonuses and team synergy:
- Diligent, Informed, and Inspiring cover much of the roster and appear across every rarity band, so you will usually have options within each when filling a building.
- Brave and Unfettered round out the five, giving you the coverage needed to satisfy attribute-specific bonuses without forcing you to chase a single unit.
Because the character cards do not expose individual skill numbers, this list ranks primarily by rarity and Initial Aptitude and states so openly. Tiers are sized consistently for readability, so a Fellow near the bottom of one tier and the top of the next may sit close together in raw aptitude; when that happens, use the attribute and role notes to decide which unit better fits your current needs.
S Tier
The single strongest ceiling in the current roster. Only one Fellow sits here, and it is the only UR-rarity unit available, with the highest Initial Aptitude in the game.
Neptune (UR)
Neptune, the Ocean Guardian, is the sole UR Fellow and tops the list on pure rarity and aptitude, opening at an Initial Aptitude of 120, well above any other unit. She belongs to the Informed attribute and carries the Lady of the Sea occupation. As the rarest Fellow with the highest starting ceiling, she is the clearest single investment priority whenever you can obtain or advance her, since UR units set the upper bound for what a Fellow can become.

A+ Tier
The collaboration SSR Plus units alongside the highest-aptitude standard SSRs. This tier holds your top non-UR investment targets, blending the elevated ceiling of the KonoSuba crossover with the strongest units from the base roster.
Aqua (SSR+)
Aqua, the Goddess of Water, is a limited SSR Plus Fellow of the Inspiring attribute with an Initial Aptitude of 100. Her card shows a rarity-advance path that raises her further toward UR, giving her a ceiling above a standard SSR and placing her among the most valuable pulls when the collaboration banner is live. As a limited unit she may not always be obtainable, so prioritize her during her event window.

Kazuma (SSR+)
Kazuma, the Average Adventurer, is the other limited KonoSuba Fellow, an SSR Plus of the Diligent attribute opening at Initial Aptitude 100. He shares the elevated SSR Plus ceiling that separates this pair from the standard SSR pool, and like Aqua he is tied to the crossover, so he is best secured while the collaboration is available.

Shlomo (SSR)
Shlomo, Wisdom from the Sand, is the strongest standard SSR in the game, opening at an Initial Aptitude of 110, the highest of any non-UR, non-collab Fellow. She is an Inspiring-attribute Priest, and that combination of a top-of-pool aptitude and a support-flavored occupation makes her an excellent long-term investment and one of the safest SSR units to pour resources into early.

Mescal (SSR)
Mescal, the Dragonfather, is an Unfettered-attribute SSR opening at Initial Aptitude 100. As a Dragon-race Gang Leader with one of the highest standard-SSR aptitudes, he offers a strong ceiling and is a reliable anchor for buildings or teams that reward the Unfettered attribute.

Trady (SSR)
Trady, the MonoFoxy, is a Diligent-attribute SSR with an Initial Aptitude of 90. Her Merchant President occupation suits economy-focused roles thematically, and her aptitude places her just below the SSR leaders, making her a strong investment once your top units are underway.

Mammon (SSR)
Mammon, the Scarlet Geek, is a Brave-attribute SSR Inventor opening at Initial Aptitude 80. He closes out the A+ tier as the last clearly above-baseline standard SSR, sitting above the large block of 75-aptitude units and offering a slightly higher ceiling for players who want a Brave-attribute core piece.

A Tier
The first group of the Archdemon and Summoned SSRs, all opening at Initial Aptitude 75. These are dependable, high-quality units that cover several attributes and form the core of most rosters once the top tiers are secured.
Acedia (SSR)
Acedia, the Archdemon of Sloth, is a Diligent-attribute SSR at Initial Aptitude 75. As part of the Archdemon set she provides reliable SSR value and is a natural target when you need a Diligent unit at that quality.

Avar (SSR)
Avar, the Archdemon of Greed, is an Unfettered-attribute SSR at Initial Aptitude 75, offering a strong Unfettered option just below the higher-aptitude leaders.

Ira (SSR)
Ira, the Archdemon of Wrath, is a Brave-attribute SSR at Initial Aptitude 75. She held a high placement in the earlier tier list, and while she now sits within the balanced 75-aptitude block, she remains a strong Brave-attribute pick.

Super (SSR)
Super, the Archdemon of Pride, is an Informed-attribute SSR at Initial Aptitude 75, giving the Archdemon set its Informed representative and a reliable option for that attribute’s buildings.

A- Tier
The rest of the Summoned SSRs plus the collaboration unit Darkness, all at Initial Aptitude 75, followed by the first of the 70-aptitude SSRs. Still full-quality SSR units, these round out the strong mid-core of the roster.
Kaye (SSR)
Kaye, the Summoned Shield, is a Diligent-attribute SSR Paladin at Initial Aptitude 75, fitting durable, protective building roles thematically.

Salvo (SSR)
Salvo, the Summoned Bravery, is a Brave-attribute SSR Warrior at Initial Aptitude 75, the Summoned set’s Brave representative.

Darkness (SSR)
Darkness, the Resolute Knight, is a limited KonoSuba SSR of the Unfettered attribute at Initial Aptitude 75. As a collaboration unit she is only available during the crossover, but her stats place her squarely in this band rather than above it.

Anne (SSR)

Jewlry, the Pretty Collector, is a Diligent-attribute SSR Dragon at Initial Aptitude 70, a second Diligent option in this band for attribute flexibility.

Loya (SSR)
Loya, the Perpetual Secretary, is an Inspiring-attribute SSR at Initial Aptitude 70, thematically suited to administrative and support roles.

Elise (SR)
Elise, the Cupidity Devourer, is an Inspiring-attribute SR Dealer with an Initial Aptitude of 60, the highest of any SR. She tops the SR bench and is the best non-SSR unit to develop when you need extra Inspiring coverage.

B Tier
The upper SR Fellows, led by the second-highest SR aptitude and continuing into the main 50-aptitude SR block. These are serviceable role-fillers that help satisfy attribute and building requirements while you build toward a full SSR lineup.

Adeline, the Mystery Acarpelous, is an Unfettered-attribute SR River god at Initial Aptitude 55, sitting just below Elise and providing a strong Unfettered filler option.

This updated tier list reflects the current Isekai:Slow Life roster as shown in-game, ranking every Fellow by the rarity and Initial Aptitude values the game itself assigns. Neptune stands alone at the top as the sole UR, the KonoSuba collaboration adds high-ceiling units in Aqua, Kazuma, and Darkness, and a deep bench of SSR, SR, R, and N Fellows fills out the rest of the ladder. Because a Fellow’s real-world value also depends on its blessing and the building you assign it to, treat these tiers as a priority guide for acquisition and upgrades rather than a fixed measure of performance. Keep an eye on future updates and collaborations, since new Fellows and rarity advances can shift these placements over time.
