Zenless Zone Zero Sigrid Build Guide – Best W-Engines, Drive Discs, Stats, Teams, and Mindscapes

Sigrid is an S-Rank Ice Attack Agent in Zenless Zone Zero built primarily as an on-field DPS. Much of her damage revolves around her Basic Attacks and the Aerial Patrol Spear state, which gives her access to Basic Attack: Converging Spear. Her kit also has particularly strong interactions with Stunned enemies, making team composition and proper stat investment important when building her.
Fortunately, Sigrid has several viable equipment choices beyond her signature W-Engine. Her Core Passive also supplies a considerable amount of CRIT Rate, giving you more freedom to pursue CRIT DMG and ATK through your Drive Discs. This Zenless Zone Zero Sigrid build guide covers the W-Engines, Drive Discs, stats, skills, teams, and Mindscapes you should consider when setting her up.
Best W-Engines for Sigrid
Knight’s Extolment is Sigrid’s signature W-Engine and her premium option. Its bonuses complement the attacks she uses regularly while substantially improving her CRIT DMG. It can also provide Ice RES-related benefits once its conditions are fulfilled, giving Sigrid another way to improve her damage against tougher targets. If you plan to invest heavily in Sigrid, her signature is the most natural W-Engine to pair with her.

The Brimstone is one of the strongest alternatives. It provides useful offensive bonuses without adding CRIT Rate that Sigrid may not need once her build is properly optimized. Sigrid also uses Basic Attacks frequently enough to make good use of its effect. This makes The Brimstone particularly appealing if you already have it and do not want to obtain her signature.
Severed Innocence is another viable S-Rank option. It functions as a strong offensive stat stick and avoids adding unnecessary CRIT Rate. However, maintaining all of its benefits may require occasional use of Sigrid’s Special Attack, so it can be somewhat less convenient depending on how you manage her resources.
For an accessible F2P alternative, Starlight Engine can work. It is craftable and gives Sigrid a usable offensive foundation, although its performance falls considerably behind her stronger S-Rank choices. Maintaining its buff also requires attention to Quick Assists. It is nevertheless a practical starting point while you work toward better equipment.
Best Drive Discs for Sigrid
Hormone Punk is a strong general-purpose 4-piece Drive Disc set for Sigrid. She already receives substantial Combat ATK from other parts of her setup, but the raw ATK available through Hormone Punk remains valuable. Its usefulness can also improve in teams capable of extending Stun windows, allowing Sigrid to capitalize on its bonuses when her damage matters most.

Pair the 4-piece set with 2-piece Puffer Electro. The additional PEN Ratio complements Sigrid well and avoids pushing her CRIT Rate unnecessarily high.
Dawn’s Bloom is another strong 4-piece option, particularly when you want to emphasize Sigrid’s Basic Attack damage. A large portion of her offensive output comes from her enhanced Basic Attacks, so the set naturally complements her kit. Its 4-piece effect can further increase Basic Attack damage after using an EX Special Attack or Ultimate. Dawn’s Bloom can also be combined with 2-piece Puffer Electro.
Puffer Electro itself can serve as a 4-piece option in the right team. Its value is especially notable when Sigrid is paired with Dialyn, where its buffs can be activated consistently. Depending on the rest of the build, 2-piece options such as Branch & Blade Song, Astral Voice, Hormone Punk, or Polar Metal can round out the setup.
The best choice ultimately depends on your available Drive Discs and their substats. A well-rolled alternative set can be more valuable than forcing a theoretically stronger combination with poor stats.
Best Stats for Sigrid
Sigrid’s Core Passive is an important consideration when choosing her stats. Triggering or refreshing Aerial Patrol Spear provides a substantial CRIT Rate increase, meaning you do not need to stack CRIT Rate as aggressively as you would on many other Attack Agents.
For the main stats, aim for CRIT DMG or ATK% on Disk 4, PEN Ratio on Disk 5, and ATK% on Disk 6. CRIT DMG is generally the preferred Disk 4 option when your other equipment already supplies sufficient ATK.

For substats, prioritize CRIT Rate until you have enough to complement her in-combat bonus, followed by CRIT DMG, ATK%, PEN, and flat ATK. Avoid blindly stacking CRIT Rate, since Sigrid can easily reach the point where additional investment provides little or no benefit.
As a late-game reference, approximately 33.8% CRIT Rate on the stat screen can be enough when accounting for the 66% available through her Core Passive. From there, additional investment is better directed toward CRIT DMG and other offensive stats.
Sigrid Skill Priority
Sigrid’s Basic Attack should receive the highest priority when spending skill resources. Basic Attack: Converging Spear is central to her damage, and improving it provides a direct benefit to the attacks she relies on most.
After Basic Attack, prioritize Chain Attack, followed by Special Attack, Assist, and finally Dodge.
Her Core Skill is also extremely important and should be upgraded whenever possible. Sky Knight governs the Aerial Patrol Spear mechanic and provides Sigrid’s major CRIT Rate bonus, making Core upgrades a fundamental part of developing the character rather than something to leave until later.
Best Teams for Sigrid
Sigrid’s Additional Ability, Legion of the Skies, activates when another character in the squad is a Support or Stun Agent. It increases Sigrid’s ATK and also increases her damage against enemies in the Contamination state. This naturally encourages compositions that give Sigrid an appropriate Support or Stun partner.
A strong example is:
Sigrid + Norma + Sunna
This setup keeps Sigrid in the primary damage-dealing role while Norma and Sunna provide the supporting framework around her. It also fits Sigrid’s preference for attacking Stunned targets, since several parts of her kit become more effective during these windows.

Sigrid does not necessarily require those exact teammates to function, however. When creating another team, prioritize characters capable of quickly producing Stun windows or providing meaningful offensive support. Sigrid wants enough field time to make use of her enhanced Basic Attacks, so teammates who can perform their roles efficiently before handing the field back to her are particularly useful.
Best Mindscapes for Sigrid
Sigrid is fully usable without Mindscape investment, but her M1, Long, Long Ago, is an appealing early stopping point. It provides an additional activation of Basic Attack: Converging Spear when entering Aerial Patrol Spear and can add another Ice DMG hit when her stored activations exceed their limit. More importantly for her overall build, M1 increases her ATK by 25%.
M2, Legend’s First Act, improves the PEN Ratio of her Unbridled Spear attacks and Converging Spear while extending Aerial Patrol Spear’s duration. It also increases her Decibel Generation Rate, providing several useful improvements rather than concentrating on a single stat.
M3 and M5 provide the expected skill-level increases, while M4, Hero in Training, increases Sigrid’s damage whenever she gains Aerial Patrol Spear. Repeated triggers extend the duration of this buff, making it another direct improvement to her regular damage output.
For players investing heavily, M6, Knight of the Skies, is her major high-end upgrade. It adds extra Ice DMG to the final hit of each Converging Spear stage and removes the usual limit on entering Formation Breaker after hitting a Stunned enemy with Chain Attack: Encroaching Ice. Converging Spear also activates faster during Formation Breaker.
If deciding between M1 and Sigrid’s signature W-Engine, prioritize Knight’s Extolment first. Its overall contribution to her build is greater than obtaining M1 alone.

Sigrid’s build ultimately benefits from balancing her high innate CRIT Rate with CRIT DMG, ATK, and PEN while supporting the Basic Attacks that form such an important part of her damage. Her signature W-Engine and premium Drive Discs can push her further, but alternatives such as The Brimstone and Starlight Engine mean you can still put together a functional build at different investment levels.
For a smoother experience, you can also play Zenless Zone Zero on PC with BlueStacks. Playing on a larger screen makes it easier to follow fast encounters, while customizable keyboard and mouse controls give you another way to manage Sigrid and the rest of your squad.
