Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 has begun, but this season also marks the sixth anniversary of this popular mobile FPS. Activision is celebrating it with a new gameplay update, new weapons, and a Street Fighter collaboration. Let’s take a closer look at all of this and see what Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 — 6th Anniversary has in store for us.

TIMEFRAME Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 — 6th Anniversary will start on December 11, 2025 (12AM PT).

DMZ Recon Game Mode

DMZ Recon is a major new game mode, joining Multiplayer and Battle Royale. It’s played with three-person squads and based on extraction-based gameplay. There are two maps for this PvPvE mode, and your goal is simple: you enter the map with your squad and engage in combat with both NPCs and other players to complete the extraction. If you die, all loot you’ve collected is lost.

Serpent Island Map

This is the first map in the DMZ Recon mode. It features numerous points of interest, including an urban center, an anchored freighter, and ancient buildings. The map also features a boss NPC enemy that you can clear to earn special rewards. Vehicles allow you to move faster across the map and can be purchased from Buy Stations located at various locations.

Building 21

You may remember this map from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II. It’s smaller than Serpent Island, but it’s more packed and features more one-on-one combat scenarios. You’ll be spawning in the garage of this three-story building and working your way to the roof. The main floor houses offices and restaurants, while the second floor contains a laboratory and a weapons storage unit. Its tighter layout means you’ll need to engage in more combat; be careful around corners.

In this mode, you’ll also find a black market where you can purchase new gear between missions. You can use resources extracted from previous matches to do this. You can also earn more income through daily missions and contracts. DMZ Recon includes 20+ weapon camos.

Street Fighter Collaboration

This collaboration applies to both Battle Royale and Multiplayer modes. In Multiplayer, you’ll be tasked with eliminating enemies on select maps using classic Street Fighter moves. You can only enter these maps with Prizefighter gloves. After eliminating enough enemies, you can fill your rage meter and transform into Hidora Kai, Ryu, Shigenori, or Akuma. Each character has a different special attack.

In Battle Royale, you’ll find special items you can interact with during the Isolated mode. These are designed as holograms of Street Fighter characters, and when you touch them, you transform into Hidora Kai, Ryu, Shigenori, Akuma, Shadowfall, Chun-Li, Fiona St. George, or Cammy. Once again, each character comes with a special attack, and this transformation lasts until the match ends.
