From the innovators and creators at Deep Silver, Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is another fun addition to the World of Adventure games. Go beyond your mobile screen and play it bigger and better on your PC or Mac. An immersive experience awaits you.
Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is a goofy, story-first point and click adventure where the jokes are constant and the characters actually carry the whole thing. It follows four leads, the mage Wilbur, the elf princess Ivo, the rogue Nate, and the little furball Critter, bouncing between their paths in a fairy-tale world that loves to poke fun at pop culture. It feels like a classic adventure game with modern polish. Click around, grab odd items, combine them in ways that should not work but somehow do, then listen to a lot of well-acted lines. On PC through BlueStacks, the mouse makes the interface simple, drag to mix items, right-click to examine, and everything looks like a storybook set in 3D. It runs smooth and the scenes have lots of tiny animations, background gags, and little details to hunt.
Puzzles lean witty instead of brutal, but a few are cheeky enough to cause that one head-scratch. The cast talks through solutions with playful hints, so it rarely becomes a brick wall. Swapping between the four heroes keeps things fresh, since each one brings different tools and problems, and there are moments where teamwork puzzles kick in. The writing is chatty, full English voice work sells the humor, and the German dub uses well-known film voice actors, which is a cool touch. There are side objectives, costume bits that tie into jokes and solutions, and a long runtime that actually feels worth sticking with. Subtitles are there in Spanish, Italian, and French. No energy bars, no microtransactions, just the whole game. If someone enjoys slow-burn adventures, lots of banter, exploring every hotspot, and that satisfying click when a weird item combo pays off, this will land. If the priority is combat or fast reflex scenes, not so much.
Make your gaming sessions memorable with precise controls that give you an edge in close combats and visuals that pop up, bringing every character to life.
