Choosing a Class in Ethereal Slayer

In open-world MMO games like Ethereal Slayer, choosing a class is the very first task given to a player. There are 4 class options, and each class is like a unique character in itself. Some characters are melee ranged, while others are long-ranged. Players should choose a class that suits their playstyle, and compliments the way they want to play the game. The 4 class options are as follows:

  • Swordsman – Wielding a giant sword as their main weapon, this class is a melee-ranged character that can deal heavy physical damage with it’s AOE-targeted abilities. This class is perfect for new players as the stat distribution is balanced, giving you enough HP and attack to play the game both offensively and defensively.
  • Pikeman – Pikeman is another melee-ranged class that makes use of a long pike as their main weapon. This class is more suited for offensive players who love to pierce the armor of enemies and need some agility as well.
  • Spellcaster – This is a long-ranged class. This class has the highest damage potential out of any other in the game. They have access to both AOE-targeted burst abilities as well as crowd-control spells.
  • Viper – Viper is another melee-ranged class whose playstyle resembles more of an assassin in similar games. She can speedily dash through enemies, slicing and dicing her way out of a tricky situation.

Understand the Core Gameplay Elements of Ethereal Slayer

Ethereal Slayer is a simple open-world MMORPG wherein players take on the role of a budding adventurer. You will land directly in the heart of a fictional world where you will need to navigate your way by completing and tracking different main quests. The main quests are highlighted in yellow color and located on the left-hand side of the main menu. Players can simply tap on them, and the game will auto-track your character towards the quest location.

The combat happens in a real-time basis but with tap-targeting mechanics. Players can move their character with the help of a virtual joystick located on the left-hand side. Your core abilities will be located at the right-hand side, covering the big basic attack button in a crescent-shape. As you level up by completing more quests and defeating enemies, more abilities will unlock gradually. Players can manage their abilities by opening the skill menu.

There are a ton of ways via which you can increase the combat power of your character. But, as a beginner, we would recommend only focusing your attention on completing the main quests first to unlock rest of the game systems.

Spirit Beasts and Mounts

Spirit beasts are helpful creatures that players can summon for in the gacha system, or simply acquire from specific in-game events. All players are given the Immortal beast as their first free spirit beast. This beast has access to unique abilities that can change the tide of battles in your favour. Their skills can be used actively as well in combat.

Spirit beasts come in different types and have different roles that they fulfil. For example, some are good for dealing damage to enemies, while others can be good for sustaining your character. Mounts are special travel buddies that can greatly increase your travelling speed. They fulfil no purpose in combat situations but they do contribute to your overall account CP (Combat Power).

Joining an Alliance can be very helpful

Players can join an Alliance after they reach level 50. Alliances are like guilds or clubs wherein like-minded players can join together to barter resources and discuss strategies. Players in the same Alliance can help others in alliance-based events. There’s also a separate chat for Alliance members that can be accessed from the chat option.

Players can enjoy playing Ethereal Slayer on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
